Workforce Solutions Panhandle offices are located throughout the Texas Panhandle and provide Child Care Services (CCS) to the 26-county areas. Those services include Child care-related information for the general public, Services for low-income families needing child care assistance and Information for child care providers who wish to participate in the program. Choosing a Child Care Provider
It is your responsibility to search for a child care provider that will meet your needs, expectations and availability. You may choose from the list of providers that have agreements with Workforce Solutions Panhandle Child Care Services, those licensed with the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services or a qualified relative. Please use the Consumer's Guide to Quality Child Care to assist you in your selection.

Notice to Child Care Providers regarding New Child Care Automated Attendance System Responsibilities and Reporting Requirements
5 Day Failure to Report Attendance or Absence in the CCAA system.
Attendance Requirements:
- The provider has agreed to review the CCAA system attendance and absence reports, at a minimum, every five calendar days.
- The provider agrees to not being reimbursed for child care services if a parent fails to report attendances or absences in the CCAA system, unless the provider contacts CCS within five calendar days of the incident.
